Happy 125th Anniversary of Peking University The celebration Dinner on May 4 Evening

4 May 2023 was a special day for everyone at PHBS-UK Campus. Not only was it the 125th Anniversary of Peking University and the 5th Anniversary of the UK Campus, it was also the first time after the pandemic that we were able to celebrate such a momentous occasion with our colleagues and students from our Shenzhen Campus.

The anniversary dinner at PHBS-UK commenced with a scrumptious dinner prepared by our in-house chef – Mr Jason Song. Following dinner, our international students on the cross-border programme invited the Founding Dean, our invited guests, and our short-term study students to the Great Hall for the premiere of their music video which they have specially prepared for this event. In the music video, they performed Jay Chou's "Confession Balloon" (周杰伦、告白气球), uniting their talents and creating a harmonious and memorable musical experience for everyone present.

The video premiere that set the tone for the musical evening. The opening performance of the evening featured the talented duo, Robert and Linda Stoodley, who captivated the audience with their enchanting Piano à Deux performance. Their contribution to the event was made even more special as they had generously donated the grand piano used for their performance and the rest of the piano performances throughout the evening.
